I am Professor of Library and Information Science, who chairs the Institute of Learning Technologies at Eszterházy Károly University, in Jászberény, Hungary.

Besides of my teaching duties, I am also the principal investigator of the Research Group of Information Society, currently working on the project, titled 'Further development of information literacy education' under the auspices of the Doctoral School of Education's Research Team, supported by the EFOP-3.6.1-16-2016-00001 project "Complex Development of Research Capacities and Services at Eszterházy Károly University".

Directing attention of library and information science to data governance by Koltay (2016) is an important step in breaking new ground to our knowledge of data management practices that fosters translational research (Witt, 2018).
